The West Coast’s Largest Income Property Exposition Returns to Pasadena
Multiple Opportunities to Attend Learning Sessions and Meet 100’s of Vendors and Peers

Los Angeles, CA (March 15, 2024): Back by popular demand! The Income Property Management Exposition (IPME) is returning to the Pasadena Convention Center on Wednesday, May 15th. This year’s IPME will surely be bigger and better than ever before.

IPME provides rental property owners, managers, investors, and real estate professionals the opportunity to learn the latest strategies and insights guaranteed to help them succeed in the ever-changing rental housing market. In response to the high demand for rental housing, rising inflationary pressures, interest rates, and challenges faced in securing property and liability insurance coverage, IPME offers the opportunity to learn how to adapt and thrive in this dynamic business.

IPME 2024 will provide attendees with information about leading property management strategies, the latest laws and regulations, new products and services offered, and multiple investment opportunities in alternative housing such as Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), Modular Housing, and Delaware Statutory Trusts. By attending, housing providers and real estate professions will gain the knowledge and skills needed to keep more of their money and maximize cash flow at their investment properties. Guest speakers will cover topics on the rent control and proposed housing legislation, seismic retrofitting and capital improvements, property maintenance, tenant screening, fair housing, ADUs and much more.

To top it all off, the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA) invites all attendees to its annual wine-tasting and networking mixer in the center of all the action, between the hours of noon and 2:00 p.m. According to the Executive Direct of AAGLA, Daniel Yukelson, who will be speaking at IPME 2024, “The expo has become the must-attend, not to be missed, event of the year for anyone in the rental housing or real estate business, attracting important leaders, vendors, investors, and peers.

Travis Watson, President of Apartment News Publications, is equally excited about IPME 2024, which is projected to set new attendance records with the an increasing demand for professional development. “The day will be packed with interactive seminars, professional networking opportunities, and over 120+ products and service exhibitors. Guest speakers include leading experts in real estate, property management, legal and legislative affairs, and more,” Watson said.

To help motivate, re-energize, and educate IPME 2024 showgoers, learning sessions will feature leading ADU and retrofit experts like Helen Fower and David Tashroudian of ADU1, multifamily industry professional Daniel Yukelson, Executive Director of the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles. Michael Brennan, Esq. of Brennan Law Firm; Dennis Block, Esq. of Dennis Block & Associates, and Rusty Tweed of TFS Properties, among others will tackle the thorny tax and real estate challenges we all face. Additional distinguished speakers like will bring their property management expertise to the exposition.

This year’s speaker line-up will also include political consultant, Tony Russo, of McGarty and Russo, who will be discussing the greatest threat to rental housing in many years, the “Justice for Renters Act,” which is a statewide ballot initiative coming on the November ballot. The “Justice for Renters Act” allows local governments to impose the most extreme forms of rent control by dictating the amount of rent charged on any and all types of rental housing such as new construction, single-family homes, condominiums, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), and bedrooms shared in a home, and will eliminate “vacancy de-control” so property owners can no longer charge the going market rate of rent when there’s a vacancy. Tony Russo will cover what the real estate industry and rental housing providers can do to make sure this ballot measure fails to pass.

The exhibition halls will feature relevant vendors showcasing products and services to help improve property performance and maintenance, and reduce operating costs, including Proptech management software, energy efficiency and optimization, utility billing and monitoring, solar and lighting technologies, roofing, safety and security, financial and tax planning, tenant screening, insurance, and more.

Attendees will interact with featured vendors and engage in discussions surrounding legal and legislative changes and receive practical tips relating to top property management issues such as: industry consolidation, additional regulation, and alternative housing trends, that they can implement immediately.

The Income and Property Management Exposition & Exhibition will be held on Wednesday, May 15th at the Pasadena Convention Center, Exhibit Halls A and B, from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Admission is free. Seminar seating is limited. Interested exhibitors may call (800) 931-6666 or email RSVP@IPMExpo.com.
